A release question should follow the system that last held or supervised the person.
- For a released county detainee or local release record, begin with the home page search path and the Sheriff's records channels above.
- For parole or felony probation, contact the DCS Evans Field Office at 7045 Evans Town Center Boulevard, Evans, GA 30809, 706-447-6740, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- For a same-day local release question, use the detention line because Columbia County does not publish a rolling 24-hour feed.
- For a GDC prisoner, contact Georgia Department of Corrections Inmate Records and Information, PO Box 1529, Forsyth, GA 31029.
